About
The Sustainability and Government Work Forum is held annually in partnership between the UAE government and Arab Administrative Development Organization of the League of Arab States. It reflects the UAE’s commitment towards sustainable development and coincides with World Environment Day on June 5 each year. The forum started as an initiative launched during the Year of Sustainability in the UAE.
During the forum, a report entitled “Sustainability and Government Work - The State of Arab Governments” was released. It incorporates interviews with 1,800 Arab government leaders and provides key recommendations in the emerging fields of government transformation, sustainability, and climate action.
