Future Fit Seal
About
The Future Fit Seal is a national symbol launched by the Government Development and the Future Office of the UAE government. It is awarded to projects of the federal and local governments which enhance the country’s readiness for the future. These projects are recognized for their proactiveness and exceptionalism with bold and practical future visions. They aim to deliver clear, specific and tangible results by investing in future skills and leveraging advanced technologies.
The Future Fit Seal focuses on readiness projects in key priority sectors, including the new economy, advanced technology, food and water security, environmental sustainability, future skills, and the quality of life.

Evaluation Criteria
Projects eligible for the Future Fit Seal are evaluated based on specific criteria set by the Government Development and the Future Office:
- The project should be human-centered, leveraging on emerging trends and data in its design.
- It should be pivotal, add value to the national economy and the UAE community as well as generate positive change in people's lives.
- The project should demonstrate sustainability and the use of advanced technology.
- It must be proactive, innovative, practical and yield specific, clear and measurable results supported by data and performance indicators for a period of at least two years.
- The project should demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to future changes.
- It must achieve digital readiness by adopting and developing advanced future technologies.
Eligibility Conditions
- Diversity: Priority will be given to novel, innovative projects in vital sectors. Projects similar to those previously awarded will only be considered if they introduce new concepts and methods of future readiness.
- Pivotal Importance: Focus will be on projects that are pivotal, exceptional and of strategic national or global significance.
- Priority: Projects from the federal government with a clear future dimension and measurable impact will be prioritized. Such projects must have at least been implemented for 2 years.
- Participation: The Seal can be awarded to exceptional government service projects or operational projects with a clear future-centric focus.
- Transformational Projects: Projects must have a proven track record of more than two years, demonstrating tangible, clear and specific impact.
- One award per entity: Government entities may only be awarded one Seal every two years, regardless of new projects with future focus, results or impact. The Seal will be displayed within the awarded institution for one year to encourage further development of future-readiness projects.
Application Process
Applications for the Future Fit Seal are accepted twice a year:
- From August 1 to September 31, 2024
- From January 2 to January 31, 2025
Applications can be submitted via the following link: www.gdf.gov.ae/ar/future-fit-seal. They are reviewed by a specialized committee of experts and officials from targeted sectors.
