Future Skills

Empower, Promote and Enrich the Skills of the Future

The Future Skills Program was launched as part of the Future Partnerships initiative, in cooperation with LinkedIn, the largest professional platform in the world. The program attracted 2,500 young Emirati women, and was later expanded to include Emirati young men. The program covers 10 educational tracks focusing on the most important skills needed to join the most demanded future jobs. The tracks include 117 courses focusing on project management, customer service, programs development, shopper experience, data analysis, e-marketing, graphic design, financial analysis, IT, and IT management. The tracks host a number of workshops tackling various fields related to future skills. The program provides participants with future skills needed to build a distinguished career and adapt to the changing requirements of the labor market, through 1,000 training hours covering 3 main areas: Education and Training, Communication and Interaction, and Public Policies. Through the Future Skills program, held in partnership with LinkedIn, we seek to empower youth with the future skills needed to enhance their participation in the changing labor market, boost their intellectual and practical presence in the future technological, digital and scientific jobs, and bridge the gap between skills and employment demands to enhance their competitiveness, and help them to become a main pillar in building a knowledge-based, skills-based economy towards the UAE Centennial 2071.
